This call for ideas and contributions aims to highlight research into advanced eco-friendly materials on the occasion of a collaboration between DIM MaTerRE and the Musée des Arts et Métiers.
Project goals
As part of the development of a scientific dissemination project, DIM MaTerRE launches a call for ideas from research teams and laboratories in the Paris region.
This projects aims to highlight the scientific dynamism of the Paris region for a wide audience and illustrate the technological and societal 'tipping points' linked to the emergence of sustainable, modular, multifunctional materials produced using environmentally friendly processes.
Through this call for ideas, we seek to identify and catalogue objects, instruments, experimental devices, prototypes or techniques that are emblematic of current scientific activity in the field of advanced eco-responsible materials. The displays may take various forms: samples, explanatory panels, videos, animations, images, models, etc.
The selected contributions may receive funding from DIM MaTerRE and/or contribute to:
The development of exhibition modules to be presented temporarily in the permanent collections of the Musée des Arts et Métiers, between late 2026 and early 2027.
An inventory of contemporary scientific heritage, which can be promoted beyond the scope of the above exhibition.
Ideas and contributions must fall within the thematic areas of DIM MaTerRE (Strategic gases; Eco-compatible energy systems; Low-impact construction materials; Recycling) and the relevant collection areas of the Musée des Arts et Métiers (Materials, Energy, Transport, Construction).
